CVS Trip 10/1/10

So I went back and forth last week debating if I wanted to go to CVS or not.  I really wanted to try to get the Oral B Vitality Rechargeable Toothbrushes, but I had read on other blogs that people had a difficult time finding them.  I was very limited on time last week, so I wasn't about to go on a wild goose chase.  I had to go to Kroger Friday night to pick up some basics that we were out of (eggs, milk, ground beef) and CVS is right in front of Kroger, so I decided to pop in, and guess what?  There were about a dozen of the Oral B Vitality toothbrushes on the bottom shelf of the toothbrush isle!  Score!

Transaction #1:
Bought:
2 Therma Care heat wraps at $5.99 ea.:  $11.98
2 Olay Daily Facial Cleansers at $5.00 ea.:  $10.00

Used:
2 $3.00/1 Therma Care coupons found here
2 $2.00/1 Olay Facial Cleaner from 9/26/10 P &G
$11.80 ECB from last week

Total Spent:  $2.12 (my subtotal before tax was $0.18)
Total Saved:  $27.38
Got Back:  $10.00 ECB ($5.00 and $5.00)

Transaction #2:
Bought:  1 Oral B Vitality Floss Action Rechargeable Toothbrush:  $23.00
Used:  $10.00/1 Oral B Vitality or other Rechargeable Electric toothbrush from 9/26/10 P & G
$12.50 ECB ($10.00 from Transaction #1 and $2.50 from Summer Spendings)
Total Spent:  $2.40 (my subtotal before tax was $0.50)
Total Saved:  $32.49
Got Back:  $13.00 ECB

Transaction #3:
Bought:  1 Oral B Vitality Floss Action Rechargeable Toothbrush:  $23.00
Used:  $10.00/1 Oral B Vitality or other Rechargeable Electric toothbrush from 9/26/10 P & G
$13.00 ECB (from Transaction #2)
Total Spent:  $2.13 (just tax)
Total Saved:  $32.99
Got Back:  $13.00 ECB

This trip to CVS cost me $0.68 before tax, however, the of everything before coupons and Extra Care Bucks puts me over the $50.00 minimum for the P & G Everyday Solutions Rebate Booklet
