Kroger Trip: 10/15/10

I did much better at Kroger than I did at Publix.  You could tell that Alex was on fall break and had been with us for the last two weeks.  We were completely out of eggs, milk, and fruit.  Usually a dozen eggs will last us almost a month, but I went through two dozen in a week and a half!  She sure does love her eggs.  Plus I think she's going through another growth spurt.  She's always hungry.  She's like Savannah: needs to eat every four hours!
Bought:
4 Coffee Mate Coffee Creamers @ $1.29 each:  $5.16
1 three pound bag of Ambrosia apples @ $1.99/lb.:  $6.35
Three pounds of bananas @ $0.59/lb.:  $1.72
2 dozen eggs @ $0.98 each:  $1.96
1 can of Maxwell House coffee:  $5.99
2 packs of Oscar Mayer Turkey Bologna @ $1.49 each:  $2.98
1 gallon of milk:  $2.69
4 pouches of Idahoan instant mashed potatoes @ $1.00 each:  $4.00
1 pouch of Friskies Natural Sensations cat treats:  $0.99
2 packs of Oscar Mayer Salami @ $1.49 each:  $2.98
2 packs of Maruchan Yakisoba @ $1.00 each:  $2.00

Used:
4 $1.50/1 Coffee Mate Coffee Creamers found here (made all four FREE PLUS $0.84 in overage!)
1 BOGO on any eggs (no longer available, made each carton of eggs $0.49!)
1 $1.00/1 Maxwell House Coffee from the 9/19/10 SS (made it $4.99)
2 $1.00/2 Oscar Mayer lunch meats found here (made each pack of lunch meat $0.99)
4 $1.00/1 Idahoan Potatoes found here (made each one FREE)
1 $1.00/1 Friskies cat treats from 8/22/10 SS (made them FREE)
2 $0.50/1 Maruchan Yaksoba from the 8/29/10 SS and 10/10/10 SS (made each one FREE)

Total Spent:  $21.64 (including tax)
Total Saved:  $31.63, or 59%

I don't have a cat, but I needed a 10th item for the Mega Event, and my sister has a cat, so I figured I would get Sid some FREE cat treats.  I can't believe I spent over $6.00 just on apples, but Ambrosia apples are seriously the best apples I have ever had and I have a difficult time finding them.  I was so excited to see them that I just splurged on them!  I also got a Catalina for $1.00 off my next order at Kroger for purchasing the Idahoan potatoes, so not only did I get them for FREE, they also gave me $1.00!
